What was the longest continuous travel time you've ever experienced? This refers to the entire trip from the moment you leave until the moment you arrive at your final destination, not just time spent on the plane / train / bus / etc.
I'll start: for me it's about 20 hours (between China and the UK in case you're wondering, although the China-US trips back in 2018 might also come close).
Immediately after the 18 hour flight was a several hour car ride from Joberg to KwaZulu Natal which also involved going through the border checkpoints at eswatini (then swaziland)
I also drive across country twice a year for university - those drives are about 60-80 hrs depending on my route, but I do take breaks for sleep.
From Stoke to London Euston by train 2.5 hours.
Euston to Heathrow by taxi 1.5 hours.
Waiting at the airport, 4 hours
Flight to Johannesburg 12 hours
Waiting at the airport for connecting flight 5 hours
Flight to Durban 1.5 hours
Airport to hotel 1 hour
Total 27.5 hours
7 hours in the airport (4 hours in line to check luggage, 1 hour in security, 2 hours waiting bc flight was delayed)
8 hour flight to JFK
2 hours running around JFK trying to find our bags/the right customer service desk bc we missed our connecting flight due to the first delay
4 hours in a rebooking line in JFK
7 hours in an airport hotel
9 hours in JFK the next day waiting for our new flight

41 hours total
bonus: our luggage arrived 2 whole weeks later and I got COVID from the night we had to stay in New York
