Message Board Polls?

I’ve noticed that many people use the Message Board to gather information by posting links to external Google Forms. It would be awesome if the Message Board had a built-in poll feature so as to make things easier and reduce the potential for untrustworthy or malicious links to be posted on the Board.

Edit: They could be called “JetPolls”

Yes, please. Not having to leave JetPunk would make things easier. Though polls might be overused or could encourage spam and pointless questions, but I think I'd still be nice to have

If it's easy for them to create (which it probably isn't, let's be honest) then I'm all for it! It'd be a really fun feature to see!

I have no web development skills or experience but I figure that polls could probably just reuse the multiple choice interface on MCQs and the same data collection/analytics as quizzes, but simpler.

That's actually quite smart, if you could reuse that code then it wouldn't sound that hard to implement. But that also raises the question of how you view the data or whether you want other users to view the data. And it also wouldn't have as many features as Google Forms does

Easy fixes: toggle switch for whether you want poll results to become public after the poll closes (Reddit-style) or only be visible to the poster. Expanded analytics could be available to Premium users to give the poll feature some monetary worth, while regular users get basic answer stats, which frankly is all most people are looking for anyway. You don’t even need the option to do open-ended questions in the poll because people can just use the comment section for it.
