New Island Discovered!

The news was announced a few days ago, but received very little media attention.

So in case you didn't already know: an uncharted island has been discovered off the coasts of Antarctica (in the northwestern Weddell Sea)!

The exploration crew mistook it for a "dirty iceberg", but it appeared to be a real rock. It size: about 130 meters long and 50 meters wide. It still hasn't been named but I think something like JetPunk Island would be great!

Although, if this discovery is a consequence of shrinking polar icecaps, it is quite a sad discovery.

Sure. In fact, we divide it into two halves, 130m by 25m each: New Flanders and New Wallonia, and start constant arguments between the two halves so they don’t become too powerful. It’s the perfect system.
