New Quiz Challenge Feature

Announcing a new feature!

After taking a quiz, you can now challenge JetPunk friends or (using a URL) anyone else. Look for the blue "Challenge Friends" button below the scoring box.

You'll be able to see the scores of the people you challenged by clicking on the user menu, then "Your Challenges".

Note: There are probably bugs. Also, there are also some improvements I have yet to make.

I literally just noticed this and came to mention it. Love the concept, I'm going to go start challenging

Already one suggestion: search bar for friends list? When you have heaps and heaps of friends it would be a big help.

And will the challenge issuer be notified of the result of the challenge?

The challenger is not notified.

I wouldn't want someone to email the URL to a group and then get like 100 notifications.

Maybe I can add that feature, but only notify if friends complete the challenge.

Ooh... underneath the 'your playlists' is 'your challenges'.

Lets just hope no one friends everyone and spams challenges... that's one way to make the new feature disappear...

Or just.. don’t accept every friend request from every random person. I only accept requests from people I’ve actually interacted with before either on or off site

That's why we make you click each person you want to challenge instead of having a "challenge all" option. :)

It says you’re not connected to internet when more than 1 person tries to participate, is it supposed to be only for 2 people?

What happens if I send a challenge beating a quiz 100% in 0 seconds? Is the challenge impossible to beat?

Edit: It just seems to say the challenge is invalid.

Having the same problem others have said above with the not being connected to the internet error. Happens both when I beat or don't beat the challenge, so not sure what's causing it

As I’m happy for the new feature, I’m annoyed about the removal of share results, not every time I get a score in a quiz I want someone to try to beat it when I show it to them. Both of these features should co-exist and the removal of share results is annoying enough for me to decrease my activity on the site as I think my friends would share results more often resulting in me clicking the quiz and taking it, than they will challenge me. It’s just some data that gets pasted into the clipboard, why did it have to be deleted.

Hm... I sent a challenge on this quiz https://www.jetpunk.com/user-quizzes/309965/all-50k-cities-in-europe-with-a-map, which seems rather impossible. I think I challenged 5 people, and in the 'your challenges' section, it says there's a 'not logged in' person who attempted it. How is that possible? (And they took an hour, getting a score of 556)
