When I woke up this morning I had more than 15 notifications. I checked half of them, completed a quiz paused from last night and continued checking them in the old tab without reloading the tab.
The weird thing was that I just directly clicked the notifications symbol, and when I 'x'ed some of them, the number of notifications I got was -1, -2, -3 as I went along.
Just wondering, should this error be fixed?

This is weird. I have experienced this before and is generally caused by the internet.

Yah, this usually happens to me when the tab has been inactive overnight or internet is lost

a slow or erroneous wifi connection usually causes errors with counters on JetPunk. this also happens with the upvote comment button. if you upvote a comment with a slow wifi connection, it adds your upvote, but then gives you a "timeout" message, removes the upvote from the counter but keeps the heart red, if you click it the heart turns grey and the upvote counter will actually lose another upvote. refresh the page and the counter will be accurate
