Notifications for Groups

So I have a group called the Quiz Advertisement Group and I will usually send out a group invitation link.

The problem is I don't get notifications when people join the group. For a normal group it wouldn't be a problem as people would say hi or something, however, many new people join and don't type anything.

I would like to get a notification so I both know they are in the group and I can update their permissions.
