Polish Kings

Someone once told me that if I ask any European whether they know any Polish kings, they'd probably say Jan III Sobieski. I'm curious if that's true - do you know any Polish kings besides Sobieski?

I don't know Sobieski. I don't think I know any Polish kings.

I see. There's another famous Polish king - Władysław III, who died in the Battle of Varna in 1444 - the date when Europa Universalis IV begins.

I only know Wladyslaw, never heard of Jan.

Also, just to clarify, it's pronounced Vladyslav? idrk

According to dictionary it's pronounced like that: "vu̯adysu̯af"
