What do people think of some kind of fancy shield that gets fancier the higher level you are, or a fancy lightning bolt for longer streaks?

Sounds cool! I see maybe the shield happening, but probably not the streak.

Maybe what could happen is instead of a streak the shield changes color from bronze to silver to gold. It still then fits into the JetPunk minimalistic design.

I support Shield color changes for reaching some specific levels. Like green shield for levels from 0 to 20, blue from 21 to some higher level and so.
