Quirky shorttt poem competition

Submitted by Swatcat on May 5, 2026
I love many of Ogden Nash’s poems.

Priceless gems like:

I like eels

Except at meals

And the way they feels

And

The cow belongs to the bovine ilk.

One end is moo, the other milk.

Apparently the shortest poem ever (about the antiquity of microbes) is

Adam

Had ‘em.

Would anyone know of any, or write two-line poems?

Many poems rhyme.

This one, however, doesn’t.

One I heard in a dream last night, I still have no idea what this means:

Lose distinction, embrace oneness.

Welcome to the power, man.

So. The first poem, which got the most likes, wins. (The first one in the comments. The articulate thoughtful one. ☝️ . By.. Anonymousbear25 🥁🥁🥁)
