Quiz advertisement feature?

Submitted by akjlddkjslfsd on May 10, 2026
Now that groups are gone, people have no way to effectively advertise their quizzes on the site besides making message board threads, which some people may not enjoy seeing a lot of.

I respect the recent decision made by the Quizmaster, but I think it would be nice if we had something like a "quiz advertisement" feature that doesn't take the form of a group but still allows people to put their quizzes (subject to certain rules such as "no spamming" and "remove quizzes from advertisement after a certain period of time", like what we had in the QAG).

This would be great for small creators who believe they should get more attention.

What do we think?

Yes, I think that would be a great feature!

It would be great, tho I feel there could be problems with something like it. So sad that my QAG had to disappear.

Quiz Advertisement Group, a group we had that allowed people to advertise their quizzes

Oh yeah, a tab where people can advertise their quizzes apart from the message board wouldn't be bad, but I think the board fulfills this purpose.

What about groups but with just the quiz sharing function and no chat?

I'd think just adding the quiz sharing function to the message board

Thats what spotlights are.

Except you can't do that all the time - if you are on level 50, and want to spotlight a cool SVG quiz you made... you have to wait 7 years (in theory)?

You can use the challenge feature to do so. And it's already used in this way by quite a lot of users. But overall, I don't really see why we should need such a feature. When you are interested in user created quizzes, just often check the Recent User Created page. The interesting ones are easy to spot out. And it avoids the risk of being fllooded by ads.
