I feel like this has been brought up once in the past. But I'll mention it now anyway.
I could imagine a function to let you subscribe to the RUB (Recent User Blogs Page) and the Message Board. Every post on the Message Board would probably get a reply within minutes which would be awesome.
Jokes aside, he probably wouldnt add it because he has stated in the past that he doesnt want JetPunk to become like other social media sites like reddit and that orange website
Please for the love of God and all that is holy, don't increase the ads that much, otherwise people such as myself would've simply went onto Sporcle as it was more popular. If the ads stay like this I think it's fine.
To be honest more ads could drive people away. Advertisements are really annoying to the average person and not everyone wants to spend the money when they are brand new.
I don't see ads but advertising the site to friends is a bit hard if the screen were to be flooded with ads and if the site ran like a computer from the 90s.
Also, a few more perks for Premium users could entice a big sum of people. By that, I don't mean making old features paywalled, just a few tiny additions here and there (ex: being able to upload SVGs with a larger file size, having one or two more nominations to give out per month, etc.)
Obviously, the site is being run brilliantly so these are just nitpicks, but I think it could boost sales of Premium.
I think the sales of Premium are determined by people having or not having money to spend, or having or not having the ability to spend money on Premium. Not about what it comes with.
If you were broke you wouldn't be spending your time on an internet site. I think you are just not ready to spend money on JetPunk, a similar feeling that I had.
even though i use the site i don’t do the kinds of stuff on here where i would benefit from owning premium. plus i’m trying to keep monthly subscriptions out of my life as long as possible
Idk, this feels a little unnecessary to me. It's pretty easy to click a button to go to the page and check manually. We already know that the MB is not QM's primary consideration on the site, and you can already subscribe to users to get their blogs.
The RUB and MB get so few posts that you could realistically see every post if you just checked once every day. I think the way the notification system is currently set up is fine as is.

QM wouldn't ban anyone for mentioning Sporcle.
I honestly think that this oh-my-god-there's-this-other-site-but-we-are-not-allowed-to-say-its-name-cause-oh-my-god-it's-bad thing is just trash.
Sporcle is just a competitor. It has differences, some people like them, some might not. But that's okay!
The result was an automatic permaban.
We're gradually catching up to Sporcle and will be #1 in the next few years. Sporcle's big advantage is that people don't know about JetPunk.
It's $1.11 per month people!
Also we have AdLite for anyone whose quizzes have earned at least 5 spotlights.
Also what is AdLite?
