SVG visibility with yellow box quiz.

Is it possible to make elements in my SVG only appear when the corresponding yellow box is active? Like, can I make a word appear on a map only when the corresponding yellow box is active?

You're much better at all this than me and so I'm guessing you already have thought of and tried this, but I know there are quizzes like this. I wonder if there's a similar way to get it to correspond to a yellow box.

Like I said, this probably doesn't help at all, but I figured I would try to offer whatever minimal ideas I have

Fortunately, this is quite easy, it turns out. I just needed to have a few lines of css styles to make this work.
