The Bougainville Case

One thing that has been bugging me every now and then is the impending independence of Bougainville. Their independence might be the biggest shakeup to JetPunk quizzes ever.

The Countries of the World quiz will have to update for the first time since 2011, and many Oceanian quizzes will have to ultimately face resets too. I am sure that many other featured quizzes will have to have to be updated too due to Bougainville's small economy and different demographics.

Admittedly, we have had updates to quizzes based on flag, capital and demographic changes, but the creation of a whole new country is a pretty novel concept for JetPunk.

What's worse is we have little idea as to when this independence may come. The referendum was held in 2019, yet progress on the Papuan side has been slow. There is a timeline for 2027 independence at the latest but even this is uncertain.

I am just curious on JetPunkers thoughts on this and how it will shake up JetPunk.
