I'll go first (hehe)
I went to Canada once, and I lost my phone there. It was completely my fault but...
Also when I went to Jakarta there were some people in the middle of busy roads that painted themselves silver. I have no idea why, does anyone here know?
Anyways have a nice day/night (depending on where you live)!
First time was in Halifax, Nova Scotia. We were both walking along the street in opposite directions. I was on holiday from the UK, he was working there and was only in Halifax for one day!
Fast forward twenty years and I'm unloading my truck at a small factory in a small town near Naples, Italy. I think it may have been Saviano, but I'm not sure. It was a while ago. The same guy from school walked past the entrance to the factory at the precise moment I was leaving the gate. Turned out he was visiting his wife's grandparents who lived in the town.
Never seen him since though.
I met some folks in England who owned property bordering Highclere Castle (from Downton Abbey). They said they had permission to walk the grounds and took me on a tour. Lady Carnarvon saw us on the lawn and approached us angrily, thinking we were trespassers. After a short conversation she let us continue to tour!
As we left to go to the train station, I heard a distinct voice in my heart, which I believe to be the voice of Jesus. ( I’m not from a Christian family). He said ‘Go buy a handbag.’
This sounded crazy as I processed this in my mind. If we were to do that, we’d get late for the dinner, and ‘we were shopping for a handbag’ would have been a pathetic excuse for being late and would clearly be disrespectful of the others who’d have made an effort to be at the dinner on time.
As I processed this, He spoke again with authority, ‘Go buy a handbag’. It was an order.
So we got one.
When we reached the train station, five of seven terrorist bomb blasts had already occurred on trains on the train line.
I dont think that God necessarily loved me more than the people who died. It just wasn’t our time to die.
