Two answer columns

Submitted by Bubblecat on November 1, 2025
Hi there! I'm trying to make a quiz about European country names in minority languages. I'd like there to be two answer columns: one for the country name in English, and one for the name of the language it's been translated into. However, the quiz maker will only let me assign 'Answer Column' status to one column. Is there any way to change this?

You can't do this in Step 2, you have to switch the design mode to manual mode in Step 4. Then you can add an extra column whenever you want to. After that, you have to change the 'cell type' option near the top to 'answer' for each cell, and change the cell to the corresponding answer.

My explanation might be a bit confusing but hope that helps a bit :)

I'm trying this, but it isn't working; when I try to change the cells in the third column to Answers, a box is coming up which makes me click on a row and then the answer changes to a duplicate of the answer in the second column.

To demonstrate, what I want the first two rows to look like is:

Name | Language | Country

Beldjike | Walloon | Belgium

But when I try to manually change 'Belgium' into an answer, it changes to 'Walloon' in the grid, so the grid now looks as follows:

Name | Language | Country

Beldjike | Walloon | Walloon

That's because you need each distinct answer in its own row. in Step 2.

So, in Step 2, instead of having Walloon and Belgium in the same row, have them in separate rows.

Sorry its so difficult.
