Seeing as this is a geography-focused website, what are some weird, obscure geopolitical entities y'all know about? I'll start:
Grenada's portion of the Grenadines is technically a dependency known as Carriacou and Petite Martinique. This makes Grenada the smallest country to have a dependent territory.
Spain and France share an island, but the ownership changes every 6 months. In English it is known as Pheasant Island. You can read more about it in one of my blogs.
