Weird thing/glitch happened

Yesterday I was at around 6850 takes and looking at the rankings the cutoff to get to position #4000 was 6905 takes. But today, all of a sudden that cutoff became 40-50 takes lower, making me ranked at position #4000, why is that?

The only one that comes to mind for me is people deleting their accounts or in rare situations, deleting quizzes.

I don't think that's it because then like 15-20 people above me would have to have deleted their account.

We periodically remove old quizzes from inactive users if they don't get taken enough.

Uh, wait what's the maximum amount of takes that gets it removed? Some of my best quizzes have like 20 takes (like this one or this one).

Quizzes from users who have logged in within the last 18 months will never be removed.

But we can't store content forever for inactive users.

Logged in as in went onto the site or just had their account logged into the site without ever visiting it?

What happens to featured quizzes made by some of those inactive users?

Featured quizzes are not affected.
