What are Whammies?
As the introduction of my blog says, Whammies are a feature on JetPunk that work as "lives" so if you write the wrong answer on a quiz you would lose one until you run out of lives and the quiz ends. That way you can not allow incorrect answers like a real-life test would.
How do they work?
Whammies work with Type-Ins, Type-Ins are the different ways in which we can write an answer so that it counts as a correct one. Whammies work the same way but with a twist, you have to put what a person CANNOT write as an answer.
If you don't know how Type-Ins works, check out this blog by Stewart named How To Use Type-Ins Effectively
How are they activated?
Whammies only work in Text and Image Quizzes. You have to go to "Step 3 - Type-Ins" (Step 2 in Image Quizzes). On computer, you have to click "Whammies" in the Type-Ins Options and, in mobile, you have to click on the settings button on the top right and select "Whammies". There, you select how many Whammies (Lives) you want to put in your quiz. This way, a tab will open to place the Type-Ins.
How does the blog help?
After all the explanation, which I hope has made the Whammies a little easier to understand, is where my blog comes in.
When you activate Whammies, you have to manually add each Type-In you want to as an incorrect answer. There is not (and will not be) a way to automatically add the Type-Ins you want quickly and that is why I decided to create the blog.
In the blog there is the automatic JetPunk Type-Ins of Countries, Capitals, US States, US Presidents and Elements. In there you will find all the notes and explanations if you want to use it for Whammies.
