What happened to the Front Page this week?

It's been a strange week for JetPunk's front page, apparently.

We had 6 quizzes a day on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, and then it went back to 5 a day on Thursday and Friday, and back to 6 again on Saturday (today).

I'm not picking up any pattern from the changes in the number of FP quizzes per day. It's probably something to do with Groundhog Day on Monday, but what about the other days? Did QM realize traffic is higher earlier in the week? If that is the case, why six quizzes on a Saturday when traffic is lower? Any ideas why this is happening?

For your information, last year we had 5 quizzes a day for the entire first week of February.

Maybe they are testing to see which gains the most traffic

Is there a reason it needs to go down? Why not have 6 year round

Normally it's 5 a day from January to September and 6 a day from October to December, probably because there's more traffic late in the year.

Now they seem to be scrapping that pattern, for unknown reasons.

I think some of these are cases where there’s a great quiz that QM wants on the front page ASAP so he just adds an extra one rather than kicking another off the front page.

Makes sense.

But it seems to be a fairly recent thing to happen, so I'm guessing maybe QM just feels like doing it now?

I blocked someone else.

Long story short, they seemed to misinterpret a (now removed) comment and I wasn't quite comfortable with what they said.

The comment count thing should fix itself after a few hours.
