There’s a big difference between best and favourite. Hmm. Anything by peak Miles Davis. Maybe Birth of the Cool? I can’t say I casually listen to it, but man, that guy was on his own level and I can just feel how special it is. A Tribe Called Quest - Low End Theory is another one I don’t listen to the whole album too often anymore, but I think it’s a masterpiece. As far as casual listening when I’m on my daily commute, lately like to throw on MadVillainy, New Abnormal, or maybe Plastic Beach (On Melancholy Hill really carries that album though).
Man Miles Davis is just so good, He’s what really got me into jazz in the first place. I have always found the low end theory to be a bit overrated, because i think it’s lasting influence is more impactful than the actual raps, which can be kind of boring. But Madvillainy is absolutely a masterpiece.
Depends what you mean by best. My personal favorite album of all time is Zach Bryan's self titled album from a couple years back - I don't think any songwriter has ever made a record on that level before.
As far as general quality, ingenuity, and musical skill, I'd probably go with Spiderland by Slint. Basically one of a kind even 35 years later and has had pretty massive influence in its genre. And unbelievable technical skill displayed.
Influence wise, I'd probably say something like The Velvet Underground & Nico, Dark Side of the Moon, or Sgt. Pepper's, although I wouldn't cite those in my personal top tier.
My favourite is the self titled album by The Stone Roses, while definitely one of the best debut albums, probably not a contender for best of all time. For that category, I would probably highlight, a couple from different genres I enjoy
Abbey Road - The Beatles
Wish You Were Here - Pink Floyd
OK Computer - Radiohead
Songs in the Key of Life - Stevie Wonder
What's Going On - Marvin Gaye
Meat Is Murder - Smiths
I would say In Rainbows - Radiohead is probably the best album to listen to.
My favourites change almost weekly depending on what sort of mood I am in. However, I always seem to come back to three albums...
Dark Side of the Moon by Pink Floyd
Live and Dangerous by Thin Lizzy
Arrival by ABBA
Three very different music genres, but for me these albums are timeless.

The Chronic - Dr. Dre
The Fat of the Land - The Prodigy,
Nevermind - Nirvana
The Battle of Los Angeles - Rage Against the Machine
Oxygène - Jean-Michel Jarre
All Eyez on Me - 2Pac
From underrated ones:
Parade of the Athletes - Tiësto
Talking Book - Steve Wonder
Revolutionary Vol. 2 - Immortal Technique
Life is Good - Nas
Into the Shallows - The Rare Occasions
Tourist History - Two Door Cinema Club
Phantom Pop - Wild Party
Band on the Run - Wings
Gold - Chas & Dave (great, even as a compilation)
anything by My Chemical Romance
