Just filled up my truck for the first time in a few weeks. Last time I filled it up it was around $3/gal for the premium gas, and I filled up my whole tank for about $34. This time the premium at my local gas station was $4.25/gal, so I filled up with the mid-range at $4.07/gal. Luckily we had a .90¢/gal discount from our grocery store fuel points (meaning we spent almost $900 in groceries over the course of March), so my total to fill up the tank was only $36. Hopefully we have more fuel points next time I fill up the truck. I’ve got 510 miles left until it’s empty. I’m considering filling up some cans with extra gas between now and then if the price really starts flying up.
As of the time you respond to this post, what’s the general price of gas at stations in your area?
Just comment on the gas prices. Don’t make any political commentary.
I'm glad it's gotten down to $2.00 here, so I have no doubt it will eventually decrease again over time.
*estimates are rounded to the nearest decimal place*
You can drive around 310.686 miles on a tank and get about 1.8 Gallons per 62.14 miles. This equals to around 34.52 miles per gallon.
Dimby, what car do you drive!?
So about 4 US dollars a gallon.
Petrol fuel prices have always been high in India, with the govt. pocketing the difference. They haven’t increased so far, but are expected to go up after some state elections in May.
Per gallon here
In more remote places, it rises to $2.89 AUD/L... (regular unleaded)
