What Would Make JetPunk More Eye-Appealing?

Submitted by TheBestVincent on June 15, 2025
We all (most likely) saw the thread about the home screen. But there are some other things I think JetPunk could have that would make it more eye-appealing to a new user.

1. If there is a customization of the home screen, maybe there could be a customization of your own profile page. Where a user could put stuff like: My most popular quizzes, My most underrated quizzes, quizzes about _______, Sudden Death quizzes, etc.

2. There could be a survey that newer users take to see what types of quizzes they like to take and what they would like to appear on their feed.

3. There could be an easier way to access playlists, maybe under the menu drop down or you could search for playlists.

4. A thing that I think could work would be receiving a notification when someone comments on a comment you've made on a different quiz. So if I commented on a quiz, and someone commented back, I think I should get a notification.

5. There could be competition, where you could challenge a friend to see who can get the higher score, where you can earn like a record, 14 - 5 - 3, and you could earn a ranking for top competitors on JetPunk.

This an awesome website and I am thankful for JetPunk. Thank You!

Lovely ideas!

Could I live in my fantasy for a second and imagine an annual JetPunk championship between users?

Also, number 3 probably will never be done since QM has stated in the past that this would likely cause arguments, hence why it hasn't been added.

Most popular quizzes already exists, though I would like to pick some underrated quizzes to display, that'd be nice. The others are great ideas too, though competitions would be hard to code and probably use up a lot of resources.

One thing that Quizmaster has often said is that premium barely brings in any revenue. If more benefits were offered with it, I feel like a higher percentage of users might consider buying it.

I think QM’s point is that premium members don’t bring in a lot of money per premium member. Because premium users use the site a lot, they probably only offset what they cost in user fees.

They neither bring in a lot per member or in aggregate.

Number 4 would definitely be an improvement for users, whether it would bring more revenue or new users is debatable.

I disagree. I think that it would only result in more unnecessary arguments and so in a greater need of moderation.
