What's the most remote place you've visited? I mean things like deserts, islands in the middle of the ocean and other such things.

Depends what you mean by remote? Remote from other people or from other settlements?

I've been lucky enough to have travelled a lot, but the place I felt most remote was in the Highlands of Scotland. The far north is very sparsely populated away from the towns.

With "remote" I mean sparsely populated and far away from large concentrations of people.

I think the most remote place I have visited is Fårö which is an island north of Gotland in the Baltic Sea.

For me, it's either got to be Santa Cruz Island in the California Channel Islands or the entire section of U.S. 50 in Nevada between Fallon and Ely.

Aren’t Greenland, Tibet, Iceland, and parts of Australia more remote? (I checked your map.)

From Croatian perspective I'd say Kemijärvi, Finland. Or island of Lastovo in Croatia.

Hm in terms of remote human settlements maybe Carcross Yukon.

In terms of away from other people, possibly Carmanah walbran provincial park, an old growth forest on Vancouver Island

Not that one specifically haha. I think Neil Island or Baratang Island would be in my case. Both have some amazing rock formations!
