Who Is winning the Premier League?

Arsenal's wobbly second half against Liverpool could spark a much more intense title race. Who do you think will lift the trophy at the end of the season?

Tell me the teams, then I will make a complete guess and then be completely biased towards it

The teams actually in the race are Arsenal (49 points), Man City (43 points) and Aston Villa (43 points).

Hard to say. Arsenal currently lead by six points but there's still plenty of time left in the season, so Man City probably still stand a chance.

Liverpool are 14 points behind Arsenal and I'm afraid that's just too big of a gap for them to come back this season. They seem to have become complacent after winning the title last year. They might still get a 2nd or 3rd place though.

Arsenal’s really turning into smth this year, a showdown between them and Man City this year could be kinda awesome

Agreed, I think Arsenal are definitely the best team in the league maybe even Europe. However most teams have a bad run of form sometime in the season. It's happening for city now, it's yet to happen for Arsenal and if it does it could be costly but I'm sure it will be a close race this year!

Yeah, but that's like a League One team right? Not entirely unexpected even though the scoreline looks a bit extreme.

Yes, but you look at crystal palace who lost 2-0 to macclesfield - a team in the national league. I know Man City are obviously better than palace but they are both prem teams. Palace actually beat man city in the same competition in the final last year.

I guess sometimes you just get extreme scorelines for no apparent reason.

Liverpool once beat Bournemouth 9-0 but later in another game they only beat them 3-1.

Also, it's not always the case that the better team emerges as the winner of a game. Soccer is weird.

I see your point. It's unpredictable sometimes. Like when Arsenal only beat Wolves 2-1, both of their goals being own goals from wolves players when everyone expected Arsenal to destroy them.

Then not long after Arsenal beat Aston Villa 4-1. Aston Villa obviously being much better than Wolves.

You never know!

Just checked the table again and they're actually in 10th place?

They probably don't stand a chance to win the title, but still very impressive considering they were promoted only this season.

This is definitely Arsenal’s year. City are furiously spending to try to keep up, but Arteta has plugged their previous gaps really well. They’ve ground out some solid results and are 5 points clear. It’s theirs to lose.

Very well put.

I think Guardiola is really giving it his all at this point and, what more can he do?

He's signed Semenyo, and even if they do get Guehi's signature, Arsenal still look too strong.
