I've always have been wondering this. A quiz in German is now my most popular quiz. Comparing it's recent quizzes to others in different languages, usually it get's much more. Anybody know why?
I reckon there's just a lot of German users, and a lot less German quizzes for them to take. It's third to English and French, I believe.
Also, for anyone thinking about capitalizing on this, please don't Google Translate it. There was a rush of that a few years back, and it turned out about as well as you'd expect. Either get someone to translate for you or have a decent grasp on the language.
Well, actually, in 2024, Polish was still ahead of German. But I really think that German can be third in 2025.
Your second remark is very true. Ask a native, don't (only) use an online translator. That's the key to respect other linguistic sections. Otherwise, you give a lot of work to trusted users and a bad image of you accross the "foreign" sections of the site.
