Why does every Thumbnails have to be

I always want to give my New quiz a Thumbnail but this always pops up similar to this:

"Image is to small. It must be atleast 235 Pixels in each direction."

I don't get this. JETPUNK JUST LET ME GIVE THIS QUIZ A THUMBNAIL

What does this even mean? I am also taking high Quality pictures in my opinion.

You can adjust the size when you add a picture, try to make the picture as square as possible for thumbnails.

For what it's worth I get the opposite sometimes, it tells me my picture is too big!

I just choose a different image when this happens, but it's possible to re-size images, in MS Paint for example (Resize and click on Pixels).
