I know some people are already on April 5th but whatever, I want to share some interesting events that happened on April 4 and why I think it's a big day in history...

1789: First US Congress begins regular sessions during George Washington's presidency at Federal Hall, NYC. 🏛️

1841: William Henry Harrison became the first U.S. president to die in office. ⚰️

1850: Los Angeles was incorporated as an American city. 🌇

1949: NATO was formed. 🌐

1958: The peace symbol, made its first public appearance. ☮️

1960: Ben-Hur became the first film to win 11 Academy Awards. 🏅

1969: American surgeon Denton Cooley implanted the first complete artificial heart in a human. 👨‍⚕️

1973: World Trade Center opens in New York as the world's tallest building at 110 stories. 🏢

1975: Bill Gates and Paul Allen founded Microsoft. 🖥️

1999: Jack Ma founds Chinese internet company Alibaba. 🇨🇳

2002: The Angolan government and UNITA signed a cease-fire agreement that ended the country's civil war. 🇦🇴

2023: Donald Trump became the first former president in U.S. history to face criminal charges.📋
