Additionally to what brandybuck96 already said, it's common in a lot of european languages: You see it in Britain, France, Sweden, Poland, Spain etc. In Gemany, it was the most common girls' name just a few years ago.

It's been in the top 5 baby names for girls in the US every year since 2002, and in all but 4 of those years it was either number 1 or number 2. So... yeah, it's pretty popular. Check it yourself on the Social Security website.

Hemp is very much so legal in the US lmao. It is a very common and profitable crop with health benefits and it doesn't get you high.
