My main issue is that I tend to spell incorrectly. So I lose the time of typing the worng word, checking where the mistake was, and then having to delete the word and retype.
I wonder if I can do the quizz, with no spelling mistakesm and using the State's full names, under one minute?
nyc should probably not be a type-in for New York state, but abuse it while you can.
The trick is to learn sequences instead of individual states.
Like, I don't even see Washington or Oregon, the west coast is just one big state called "washingtonoregoncalifornianevada"
Then you have "Idahomontanawyomingutaharizona"
The whole texas region is "texasnewmexicolouisianaoklahoma"
anyways tips:
muscle memory is the name of the game
optimally remember the first few and don't refer to the map
washingtonoregoncalifornianevada,
montanaidahonorthdakotasouthdakota,
wyomingcoloradoutaharizonanewmexico,
texasnebraskakansasoklahoma.
that's the entire west complete.
remember a part in one chunk, which hopefully leaves you with enough time to finish the east (which I haven't thought off strategies yet) but still remember have a good grasp on what you need to type
