Major League Baseball is divided into the American League (AL) and National League (NL). Guess the teams that play in the AL without clicking any NL teams.
You will be shown 10 random numbers between 1 and 100 without knowing what's next. Your task is to put them in order! But beware, if a number cannot be placed, the quiz ends...
Astros still throws me, even after all these years. When was really into baseball in my youth, they were in my teams' division. Now they are in a totally different league and I tend to forget that.
Really think the answers should be randomised for these types of quizzes. Knowing nothing about a subject, I can get five points by remembering a pattern.you might say this defeats the object, but it’s so easily fixed…
Originally, the American and National Leagues were two separate leagues that only faced each other once in the World Series. They then merged and formed Major League Baseball, and the teams stayed in their divisions, with the teams with the best winning records facing each other in a best-of-7 World Series.
Some of the teams changed their names or moved to different cities. Eventually, the league began expanding and searching for new markets with new teams. But the teams from both leagues still weren't allowed to play against each other (Except in an All-Star Game and the World Series), so some teams were moved (Such as the Brewers) to the other league. (The NL used to have 16 and the AL 14.) Eventually, interleague play was finally allowed as the Astros moved to the American League to keep both leagues at an even 15.
