Six Figure Income (in the singular)? I lost a whole second and a half wondering why it wasn't accepted before thinking to add the s. You've wasted a second and a half of my time QM, I demand satisfaction!
Psh, I probably spent a good couple minutes composing the complaint. If I was truly worried about wasting time, I wouldn't be on a quiz site, now would I?
Am I the only one who wonders about the bionic man? If they remade the show today, would it still be the "Six Million Dollar Man"? Or would it be a higher amount, given 40 years of inflation?
Used to have a six pack when I was painting houses for a living. Once I started sitting in front of a computer, it turned into more of a keg. Or a one pack, as I like to call it. :-)
They use it to walk on/with and (generally) not to grab things (though polydactyl cats with a "thumb" do use their paws more often that way. More often than non polydactyls that is, they still use their paws mainly/mostly to walk on/with). So I would say toes.
And you would not call the front limbs arms, I don't think.. when you think too long everything becomes weird haha
I used "digits" for the income question. Now I see the answer I realize "figures" is the more common way to say it, but I could not figure out what was wrong.
I was pleased when I dredged up "Seals" from my mind somewhere as an answer to the Obama one but it wasn't accepted. Bit tight innit QM? Near enough surely? Nice quiz. Thanks
Please could you accept '6th of June', '6 June', and/or '6th June' for the D-Day question? Took me a while to remember Americans write the date the other way round :)
Yes, there was self-deprecating sarcasm there.
