Red Stripe is actually made in the United States, not Jamaica. It is brewed and bottled in Pennsylvania. Read the label next time you have one. It is a Jamaican "Style" lager, not actually Jamaican.
Likewise if you read the label on a Heineken in New Zealand you will find it is made in New Zealand. But that doesn't make it a New Zealand beer - just that the trademark owner in the Netherlands have sold franchise rights to make it in various places.
Feel dumb for missing Singha. I missed 5 and I always do badly on quizzes for alcoholics but I knew I had seen Singha many many times and guessed almost every other country I've spent time in in East Asia. But I missed the one I've spent more time in than anywhere else aside from the Philippines.
As I said in my original post, the two names are used interchangeably. I lived there for 18 months and heard many Dutch people refer to the country as “Holland”.
It’s also a type in on all most every other quiz on Jet Punk.
So, do me a favour and keep your smart arse comments to yourself.
Yeah I drink a fair bit of South Korean beer and last time I was there was fairly recently in 2025, Lots of Cass, Terra, Kloud and Kelly as you say, but only a little bit of Hite, don't think I've bothered with one in years. Cass would be a more representative choice.
Estrella for spain would be a good addition too, though I don't love it myself (probably to do with an improperly stored case of it I 'enjoyed' as a student).
"Newcastle" is not a brand of beer as such. It is a city in the north of England. "Newcastle Brown Ale" is the brand name, although now it is owned by Heineken
Angkor is another that could be included. Very knowable if you've played geoguessr (ads are literally everywhere in that country and frequently contain place names in Khmer script) and possible to figure out from the name alone based on general knowledge even if you haven't heard of it.
English ales are the only ones worth talking about. Anything that has to go in a fridge does so because it has no taste. Off cold brings out the flavours.
Cronenbourg is a neighbourhood in Strasbourg, which was at the time of the brewery foundation a Free Imperial City within the Holy Roman Empire. The city as well as much of Alsace was annexed to France by the end of the 17th century, and its sovereignty moved through many hands until the end of WWII, but the Kronenbourg brewery and the company stayed in France since.
Pilsner = Farmer piss
Kokkanee = Yeti Piss
Budweiser = deece but still American piss
Best beers are craft beers, Yellow Dog
Despite Victoria Bitter being probably Australia's biggest selling full-strength beer, it's one of the worst
Victoria Bitter...urgh....it's what Australians drink when there is nothing else and they're already drunk and can't taste it!
and I do not drink
I appreciate the country name is the Netherlands, but the two names are used interchangeably in Britain.
It’s also a type in on all most every other quiz on Jet Punk.

16... Not that bad ':D
May I suggest Quilmes, a very decent beer from Argentina?
I must agree with those of you who say that Victoria Bitter is a horrible example of an Australian beer.
As for budweiser, it's what Australians drink when they've given up drinking.
For some reason, "Holland" isn't working as a type-in for the Netherlands as it usually does..?
+Some additional ideas:
Estrella-Spain
Super Bock-Portugal
Feldschlössen-Switzerland
Huda-Vietnam
Estrella for spain would be a good addition too, though I don't love it myself (probably to do with an improperly stored case of it I 'enjoyed' as a student).
Wow - always thought it was German or from central Europe. I learned something new.
I'd miss Hoegaarden, but it's pretty expensive in Australia.
