Tried Yard and couldn't think of anything else. Why this time are we requiring the plural added s?

The producers of Chicago (2002) may have run Catherine Zeta-Jones in the supporting category to put her in a better position for an Oscar, but for all intents and purposes, she was a co-lead in that film. I'd recommend plugging her in as an alternate answer to Z.

Not fair you have to add the "s" on the Y-question. Nothing else ever requires an "s" at the end.

Except for Cubs and Untouchables... And

Blues and Sears and Economics. Wait a sec... All the other answers that end in an S require it.

No, he meant that it's weird that the quiz DOES accept Northwest for Northwestern. It probably shouldn't.

The Nobel for Economics isn't a real Nobel established by Alfred Nobel. Instead it was created by the Swedish central bank in 1968 to give economics greater prestige.

Yep, they gave (and give) enough money and the Nobel Foundation is more than happy to cash the checks in perpetuity.

I think a better clue for G would be Grant Park. It's the huge downtown park that hosts Millennium Park, the Art Institute, and Buckingham Fountain (the "Married with Children" fountain). Lots of festivals are held there every year, including Lollapalooza. You could also use (Operation) Greylord for G, which gives a nod to Chicago's history of political corruption.

Not our proudest attribute, but it's a pretty significant part of the city's fabric and history. Otherwise I think these are all really great answers.

"Vote early, vote often" is not just a Chicago thing. It's an Illinois state thing. It is said all over the state because the whole state is corrupt. Although, Chicago can easily be blamed for most of the corruption as most of the high politicians are from there, or have political ties to there.

I live there...it's a hot mess. 4 of our past 10 governors have been in prison. When i was younger i read a story in the newspaper that it was discovered in an election that there were more registered democrats in 8 different precincts than there were citizens that lived there. It's a constant joke around here that Chicagoans vote Republican until they die. Then they vote Democrat.
