As a Lord of the Rings fan, I am pleasantly surprised to find that there is a city in New Zealand that is so close to "Dunedain"

Dunedin NZ has 120,000 people, Dunedin USA has 35,000. They were both named after Edinburgh, whose name in Scots Celtic is Dùn Èideann

Plus Dunedin USA is part of the Tampa-St Petersburg urban area, so more like suburb than a city in its own right.

Europeans are learning more and more about Libyan geography because there's a civil war there, which leads to hundreds of thousands of refugees migrating through Libya to Europe. The crisis has taken insane levels.

No it ain't. It's one of the more interesting cities in NZ. Way better than most NZ cities. It has interesting architecture & has a lot of facilities for a small city (built from gold rush money).

I lived in Dunedin for four years. It has the steepest street in the world. Very cold and dark in winter. Beautiful botanical gardens there. It was better when the chocolate factory was still there.
