Sadly, they have been removed from the quiz as their names become a distant memory, lost to the mists of time.

Mojang into Microsoft? The defining deal of the past decade in gaming, so maybe it should be on here.

For some reason instead of "Exxon Mobil" I thought the oil company was "Gulf Mobil." No clue why though.

Anyone ever heard of this Broadcast.com?

It's infamous as possibly the worst deal of all time.

Basically Mark Cuban had a company that provided "radio, but on the internet". Yahoo bought it for $5 billion at the height of the dot-com bubble. The business was essentially worthless, and Yahoo was forced to write it off a couple years later.

Cuban sold all the Yahoo stock he received, bought the Dallas Mavericks, and has been living his best life ever since.

Surprisingly easier than I thought. I knew a few off the bat and managed to work out all but four of the others. The four I missed (Sprint, XM, Kinko’s and Nabisco), I had never heard of the company given, or didn't know what they did, which makes it kinda hard.

Needless to say, I’m not American.

Nice idea for a quiz though.

Thought for sure this was an update due to the Paramount/WBD deal.

I doubt people will remember those companies in 10 years. They are dinosaurs.

But Netflix comes out of this looking great. They bid up the price and then backed out letting Paramount overpay.

"Congratulations on saying the higher number".
