Perhaps, but the picture depicts La Quebrada Cliff Divers, a famous group based in Acapulco, Mexico, that does daily shows for the public. They basically "wrote the book" on cliff diving.

There are a lot of places famous for cliff-diving. I would also argue that, given the architectural/natural landmark format of the other pictures, the silhouette of a diver is really not a sufficient clue.

Where specifically could this be other than Acapulco?

The Azores for starters, where Red Bull does Cliff Diving events, they've also hosted in similar-looking places in Italy, Lebanon and Oman.

Would be funny if you knew that they do this in Azores but not in Mexico, don't you think?

People do it all over the place.

I agree. I am great with geography but I really had never heard of that. I kept thinking of Hawaii and people jumping off Diamond Head. Or something in Spain.

You can't jump off Diamond Head unless you wanted to land on a rock.

You can jump off Diamondhead, but only once.

Yeah, sorry, but a bloke diving off a cliff could be pretty much anywhere in the world.

Great series of quizes though. I found this one a lot harder than the others.

Maybe it's just for the older ones here, but Acapulco is pretty much the first thing that comes to my mind regarding cliff diving...

What is the picture from Portugal? I was guessing European seafaring nations so eventually got it. That and the one from Mali - both intriguing, what/ where are they?

The one from Mali is the Great Mosque of Djenné, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. And the picture from Portugal is a detail from a monument in Lisbon called Padrão dos Descobrimentos (Monument of Discoveries), devoted to Portuguese explorers of the 15th and 16th centuries.

Great to see some new photos instead of the same old ones - exception for the Parthenon and Pantheon - those show up often.

Agreed, but it does make the quizzes more challenging. I spent a lot more time randomly guessing on this one than I usually do.

Even though I'm just okay at these types of quizzes, I love seeing all kinds of spectacular places that I previously wasn't aware of. Sri Lanka? Wow!
