Mercedes-Benz was the only car maker I could think of, but apparently they're German. Could make a good addition, though.

Ben Franklin's should really say first president of the United States and/or inventor of electricity and freedom. You are doing him a major disservice disregarding his contributions to the oldest and most successful country in the world

He's none of those things though. Washington was the first US president, electricity is a force of nature and cannot be invented as it's always been around (Franklin's connection is proving that lightning consists of electricity) and was well known in ancient Greece. As was freedom, even though the Greeks (like Franklin) had slaves. Freedom is assuredly as old as mankind, predating even agriculture.

Calling USA the oldest country is also absolutely bizarre as all the countries colonizing the Americas obviously are older as are the few countries elsewhere that never did get colonized.

I cannot believe you are so misinformed on the greatest man to ever walk this earth! My knowledge of Ben Franklin is part of the reason why I have a beautiful pair of wraparound Oakleys and drive a white Ford Taurus (company car!)

Please educate yourself
