Hank Hill was actually born in New York state.

Hank Hill was born 1953 at Yankee Stadium in New York City (at 3:07 pm, measuring 19.5 in and weighing 7.5 lbs)[3]. According to the episode "Yankee Hankie," Hank proudly believed he was born in Texas to Tillie Mae Hill and Cotton Lyndal Hill but finds (to his disgust) that he was actually born in New York City. His mother told him she gave birth to Hank in the women's restroom at Yankee Stadium during Cotton's failed attempt to assassinate Fidel Castro during a rare American visit.

I think by "home state" they mean the state they live in or spend the most time in, not necessarily where they were born. For example, Clark Kent was technically born on another planet.

I'm from Missouri but until this quiz I had no idea Dagwood is from here. I was surprised to learn he is from Joplin.

The Zach Morris character was created for the show "Good Morning, Miss Bliss," which took place at the fictional John F. Kennedy Junior High School in Indianapolis. Although the series aired in reruns under the Saved by the Bell name, the only threads between the two shows were Zach, Mr. Belding, Screech, and Lisa. I doubt anyone would be confused, but Indiana should be an acceptable answer (as should California, as there was no continuity between the series).

At first glance I thought that was Harvey Weinstein in the picture and was momentarily relieved to discovery he was an imaginary character.
