If the islands are listed according to size, why does Shikoku come before Kyushu?

Not sure why they've been listed in that order, doesn't make sense in terms of alphabetical order, north to south, or being listed by size. Will still take the easy 5 points on this one!

There is a better one: Countries that Start with H

When you mix up Shikoku and Shikotsu... SHIKOTSU is a VOLCANO on HOKKAIDO!!! THERE AREN'T EVEN ANY VOLCANOES ON SHIKOKU!!!! >:(
