i'm no sailor but i would have thought the ship is designed to handle its own pitch and roll and the sailor only really controls the yaw

Not exactly, you can influence pitch and roll by performing ballasting/deballasting operation and affecting cargo weight distribution. Sailors only exist in naval ships.

Whether the Toronto structure is a "building" or not is debatable depending upon which source you cite. The question seems negative. Why couldn't the question be phrased as the "tallest free-standing structure in the Western Hemisphere" which it IS and how it identifies itself?

The first few letters of "Taoiseach" threw me completely off the trail of Ireland. "Tao" is something like "the way" or "the path" in my super limited understanding of Chinese. It made sense in my head that a PM of a nation in East Asia or thereabouts might have that in their title.
