I've never heard of Colin Ferrell or seen any of his films. There's this guy Colin Farrell who is much better known and coincidentally he has also starred in a film called Alexander.

I thought Hopper was fun to watch in Fishtar (Waterworld). That and Ishtar were the only ones on this list I'd seen. I wish I could erase all of Ishtar from my mind - at least the part I saw before giving up on it.

Hopper saw what it was and decided to run with it. Either that or he was just being himself and it was a bit of cinema verite.

It wasn’t great but in my opinion it’s not really as bad as most people say it is. In fact, out of all the movies on this list that I’ve seen, Solo and Ghostbusters are probably the two I liked the most. Though that’s not really saying much.

I thought it was pretty bad, but I agree it is leaps and bounds better than everything else on this list that I've seen (which is probably about half of it).

I'm surprised to see it did so poorly financially -- it got decent reviews and a lot of press. Personally, I thought it was a fun watch. Too bad a bunch of angry internet trolls had to ruin it.

I don’t think I’m biased when I say the 2016 Ghostbusters wasn’t very well directed and generally not very good. Usually, good comedies have characters that react in humorous ways to the world the movie sets up. Ghostbusters 2016 is full of improvised jokes about wontons that have nothing to do with the world the movie created.

it didn't do that bad. Albeit not nearly as well as its predecessor. Not all of these were financial failures. Justice League underperformed versus the Avengers, but still made a ton of money. It was god awful, though.

Mar 3, 2026
L3 was the main reason I couldn't get through that movie.
+3
Level 93
Mar 3, 2026
It wasn't but it had a lot of factors surrounding it that led to it flopping: behind the scenes drama that required a change in directors and extensive reshoots, said reshoots being somewhat rushed in order to make the May 2018 deadline, said deadline being too close to the December 2017 release of the Last Jedi, Last Jedi itself being extremely divisive among the crowd and ruining much hype for any future Star Wars content, etc. With all of that in mind I'd be surprised if it didn't become a flop.

I love Lee Marvin's rendition. It may be a stretch to say he "sang" it, but I never get tired of listening to his "Wandrin' Star."

Wasn't "They Call the Wind Mariah" in "Paint Your Wagon" too? Fantastic job, sung by the actor who later played Jerry Lindegard's ill-fated father-in-law in "Fargo".
