I've played this quiz sooo many times since I learned about it in 2021. It's fun to play and it's honestly helped me learn more about the world, which I really appreciate. I don't mean to be the Woker here, but I really wish they would add countries like Palestine and Tibet, which are not universally recognized as countries but deserve to be included. I mean, we've already got places like Taiwan and Kosovo, which aren't always recognized as "real" countries. Anyway, thanks for teaching my dumb Western self about the world, I appreciate it nonetheless!!

@QUIZMASTER I just came back to this website after a year or so, I have been a user for a decade. If you are going to sell our data to giant collection corporations can you at least provide a “REJECT ALL” option?? I had to unclick a few hundred “Consent” and “Legitimate Interest” toggles on many many domestic and foreign advertising and collection companies on the pop up. Always loved this website, please make it easier for future users

My current best time is 5:24 for all 196 countries, but I've been practicing on and off for years at this point.

I need to learn more of the abbreviations and get better at not making so many spelling errors.

Palestine should be added as a country by the way, especially if Taiwan and Kosovo are going to be on here.

I've gotten my time down to 4:59 by getting better with the new abbreviations I've learned and by getting faster at typing some of the longer names in Oceania and Africa. The Solomon Islands and Marshall Islands are so long compared to the rest of that region.

I think I could shave off at least 30 seconds if I completely avoided typos and further improved my typing speed, but I'm really skeptical of people who get under 4 minutes, and I'm even more skeptical of those who claim to get under 3 minutes. Maybe it's because I do this from memory and they read from a list or something, but I just don't see how times that quick are possible. You could use programmable keyboard shortcuts, hotkeys, python scripts, etc. to game this, and I have to wonder if that's what some are doing.
