I don't think it's very fair to not accept "Days Lent" for 40 D of L, especially considering the same pattern was usable for all the other answers.

That will work now.

To be fair, Jesus had 12 Apostles, not 12 disciples. "Disciples" is the general term for the people who followed Jesus' teachings, of which there were very many. The 12 Apostles were the men (John, Peter, Matthew, etc.) that lived with Jesus and aided in his ministry. His entourage, if you will. There were thousands of disciples, but only 12 Apostles.

Actually the 12 disciples of Jesus didn't become apostles until AFTER Jesus's resurrection when he commissioned them to go out into the world and preach. When they were following Jesus during his ministry they were indeed called the disciples of jesus (no one called them apostles during that time) so as this is the case then the quiz creator is still correct in saying "12 disciples of Jesus"

No, Jesus designated the twelve as apostles earlier in his ministry (see Mark 3:13-19). However, in addition to those twelve, both Matthias and Paul are referred to as apostles later in the New Testament.

I don't agree with using 12/7/1941 without the slashes (or hyphens). 1271941 is not a meaningful number without the punctuation, especially for Europeans that write dates as DD/MM/YYYY.

Why not write it as 7 Dec 1941 to be completely clear. Most of the world uses Day/Month/Year.

It's a direct quote from Roosevelt's speech to Congress: "Yesterday, December 7th, 1941 - a date which will live in infamy..."

Proud enough to figure out the 1941 thing was a date. Never mind the letters. A day world war landed in Italy? :)

Same. I even knew what happened on that date, I just could not figure out how to translate that into those letters! (Sadly, just writing 'Pearl Harbour' did not work.)

FOURTEEN (Yes, 14) questions are USA centric. Using "the American flag" is a bit annoying, the Imperial systems is ludicrous, and all these colloquialisms.

This really needs "USA" in the title. If Quizmaster wanted to do a quiz using all these "American-isms" then fine, but it's so frustrating to reveal the answers and see you've wasted time because there was no chance for anyone in the rest of the world.

"21 gram soul" kinda works for the last one. Aside from the fact that it would likely be written "21 grams in a soul". And the fact that it's nonsense.
