That, plus the one I tried to read because it's so famous but couldn't finish because it's so dull.

and to think that people were so eager to find out what happened in the next installment of some of these stories that it caused riots at the docks where they were being unloaded.

Hi QM....despite the fix, "Martin Chuzzlewit" and "Dombey and Son" are still out of sequence.

Didn't do too badly only missed the ones I've never heard of, although it has to be said that was quite a few!

Knew several of these from watching PBS Masterpiece Theater.

Hahaha! Masterpiece Theater allowed me to develop a pretty good English accent! (at least that's what my friends from London say)

I only know Our Mutual Friend because I was an enormous Lost fan in the 2000s.

Believe it or not, there are some of us who love Dickens! The first time I read Pickwick, I laughed out loud many times. My 90-pound German Shepherd once ate part of my copy of Tale...I paid to have it repaired and rebound. The PBS production of Martin C. is worth watching just for the characters....

Dickens characters are the best! Comic, tragic, morbid, ridiculous, sublime ... each is truly unique. I especially love their names! I mean, what else could you name Uriah Heep? He's the heepiest of all heeps. ;)

Could there maybe be a caveat to say it includes his novellas? I am feeling just a little bit cheated :-/

Got 10/20, including A Christmas Carol even though I'm pretty sure it's a short story.

Yes, maybe either the Christmas novellas should be excluded to bring the number down to his fifteen novels, or include The Life of Our Lord, another novella not listed here. But having to think of the Christmas books in between the full novels that I'm currently reading through really threw off my memory. Anyway who cares--excellent quiz!
