Can't believe I missed Sam Elliot. The older he gets, the better he gets.

It's so obvious when you see the answer but I couldn't get a gruff Super Mario out of my head reading the clue, and the answer looks nothing like Mario.

With all respect in the world to the brilliant director of 12 Years a Slave, the star of the Great Escape is ABSOLUTELY the best Steve McQueen in film!!!

I missed Steve Jobs. I was thinking of Johnny Appleseed, which, if you think of it, doesn't even make sense for the quiz. :P

After "Author of "The Shining"", you should put "Director who made it better". Same initials! Coincidence? Not according to the movie "Room 237".

Just because I was curious if they ever gave him a last name, I looked it up. In the 1950 cartoon "Big House Bunny," where he's a prison guard, his name is Sam Schultz. In The Looney Tunes Show (2011-2014), his full name was Samuel Michelangelo Rosenbaum. In The New Looney Tunes cartoons (2015-2020), his name was Aloysius Barthomelew Sam.

Not that this is a crucial addition, of course, but it would be funny if the clue right after "SJ - Apple founder" were "SW - The other Apple founder."

Kind of funny that the person who directed the movie for "The Shining" has the same initials as the person who wrote it. I tried Stanley Kubrick before I looked at the clue more closely.

While I’ve heard the name Selena Gomez from quizzes on here, I couldn’t picture her, or think of anything she had actually done. Went to Wikipedia to educate myself. Now, I still can’t name anything of actual merit that she has ever done. Some kid’s TV and some awful music. And for that you get to be the most famous in the world? I’m so glad I’m old and don’t have to keep up with modern guff…

This is so funny to me. Plenty of actors on this list, and a football player, but you fixate on the young one. I can't say I've listened to her music, but it's certainly popular! She's in the top 100 streamed artists on Spotify. Oh what a terrible travesty, that what's famous does not align with Alexquiz17's personal artistic tastes!

(Might wanna reread her Wikipedia page too, particularly the "Philanthropy and Advocacy" section. While not really something that garners fame, I for one consider hundreds of thousands of dollars raised for medicine, food, water, and education to constitute something of "actual merit".)
