Really? That clue threw me. On computers, every cable already had to be plugged in a certain way - PS/2, serial, parallel, etc. The cables that everyone I knew had trouble getting the right way round were SCART, because they replaced coaxial cables, which were symmetrical.
I got the "cable format" answer, but the clue threw me for a minute. I was thinking cable as in "cable TV" not cable as in "cord". I think a better definition would be "New format for data transmission and storage or power delivery".
Interestingly, Tickle me Elmo was not expected to be such a big deal. The guys who invented the “tickle me” doll brought it to Tyco, expecting just a lineup of generic tickle-me dolls. Tyco figured they might as well throw it in Elmo since he was already popular and they already had the rights to Elmo dolls. It went absolutely nuclear. I think people died trying to get that doll.
Yeah, it was a B-list celebrity who died. Some sort of late night talk show host. IIRC, he was strangled by a muscle freakshow giant with a weird accent. I think they made a documentary about it.
Can "lady di" be accepted for princess diana? The moment i didnt get it with that answer i thought there might be a different couple they were talking about
I have never even heard of Unabomber or Tickle Me Elmo. Is this the same 1996 we're talking about, or have I just had my head in a bucket all this time?
Then you turn it around to the original position. Now it works. Only when you complete the ritual will the plug connect.
The reason why this happens is quantum superposition.
I have heard of the Elmo thing, but the top answer, tupac something, just sounds like a made up name out of star wars. Never heard of him/her.
