I only got 2. I'm obviously not an American or interested in hippie culture.

About a third of the questions are about hippie culture. I didn't know any of them. Even the image next to the quiz is of a hippie.

2 of the questions were about "hippie culture". That's 10 percent. Maybe 3, if you count John Lennon and Yoko Ono as hippies. Still not a third....

Agreed, maybe he meant questions that are set during the hippie period? Cause the questions themselves indeed rarely are about the hippie culture itself. Then again, the 2nd comment again mentioned hippie culture specifically... *shrugs* I give up... no idea how to explain this haha.

I am very curious now though which other 4-5 questions sulps thought had to do with hippie culture

I would think and hope not violence/politics. so World fair, Sammy davis jr., Twist, and Monroe? (I also discounted space, toys, books and actors as subjects) are the only ones that would "make sense" (music and events) though they dont at all. I dont know anything about hippy culture either, but they are famous enough to know they do not have anything to do with hippies.

I grew up in the '60s and at most, as ColoHarpare and Sifraven said, three questions are about hippie culture which didn't begin in the US until the middle of the decade. And that photo may be a hippie look, but it appears too modern to really be from the '60s.

Summer of Love. That's it. I hope birth control isn't being reduced to a hippie thing. The Twist doesn't fit either.

I got 19 and I am neither American, nor a hippy. I also wasn’t alive in the 1960s. Although, I have absolutely no idea what Tang is/was. But I have a funny feeling that I probably don’t want to know either.

There's so much more to the '60s than just hippie culture. I recommend actually reading about it before coming to generalizations like this.

Nah. 1970 is the last year of the seventh decade of the 20th century, but 1960s are what the name says. 1960-1969.

Little known trivia fact, the working title of 'X-Men Days of Future Past' was 'X-Men The Feminine Mystique.'

Of course, one should always remember the famous Abraham Lincoln quote: 'Don't believe everything you read on the internet.'

The question specifies "Broadway Musical" for which the only correct answer is Hair. Oh Calcutta premiered Off-Broadway in 1969 and didn't perform on Broadway until seven years later.

I didn't realise De Gaulle and Krushchev were American - sure they would have been pleased!

My Geog must be outdated if Northern Ireland has become part of the USA.

I'm British and dislike the abundance of American sport quizzes, but they are obviously popular. I just don't do any.

Yes - there are a lot of mainly US quizzes, but if the majority of users are American that is to be expected.

If you don't like it - create quizzes yourself and encourage others to do likewise.

Please stop moaning.
