I'm biased as a Sydneysider but I think "The Rocks" or "Woolloomooloo" might be a better option than one that could just as easily be London.

I'm calling your bluff nearly 10 years later. There is no way that "Woolloomoolo" is a real neighborhood name, not even in Australia

Also a Sydneysider, I agree with The Rocks, or maybe Surry Hills

Changed it to "The Rocks". Thanks for the suggestion!

Yeah, King's Cross, London is probably much more famous around the world for its train station's being eminently featured in the Harry Potter books than King's Cross, Sydney is for anything else.

I wonder how many people would have got Gangnam before the song...

I used to hang out there often in 2007.

I sure guessed a lot of Chinese cities, but somehow missed the one it was. Beijing, Guangzhou, Shenzen, Hongkong, Macau... and then others Singapore, Bangkok, Manila, Taipei, Kuala Lumpur. UGH! How could I forget that one completely?

So THAT's why they named it Gangnam style... *brain explodes*

Gangnam is very upper crust, so the song is all about mocking their snooty lifestyles. If they made a Mexican version of the song it would be called "La Fresa de Condesa" (Condesa is a really fancy part of Mexico City.)

I only got gangnam because of gangnam style

The Venice version is very nice and a great place to visit, but the Jacksonville, FL one is more fun.

I only got Jamaica Plain because it shows up on my gayest places in America quiz.

I got it because I went to college in Boston, but I had no idea it was famous (I don't really think it is). Copley, Southie, and a few others are much better-known.

I lived in Boston for 11 years and cannot imagine who would think Jamaica Plain is famous... or why. I agree there are soooo many other neighborhoods that would be considered more famous; including the ones already mentioned, there's Beacon Hill, Downtown Crossing, North End, Back Bay, South End, Financial District, Kenmore Square, and – although no longer extant – the Combat Zone.

I'm from Boston, even lived in Jamaica Plain while in college, and I'm also surprised to find it on this quiz. Yes, Back Bay or Beacon Hill are much more famous and visually recognizable as Boston. I like JP a lot, but it is probably most famous as the home of the city's most notorious mayor, James Michael Curley.

I'm sorry to say my first guess for Temple Bar was Salt Lake City. Silly girl, I am.

The answers on that quiz pertain to each continent, tho. So Australia is the largest island in the region of Oceania, while Greenland is the largest worldwide.

The Victoria Peak is kind of a mountain and not a neighbourhood...

There is also a Copacabana in Havana. If you want Brazil, the clue should be more specific.

I'm not sure if Victoria Peak is really a neighbourhood.. when I went there, it was just a hill with an observation deck and a Burger King.

Can we make Chicago's more specific? I'm sure it's more famous overall, but being from SoCal I tried San Diego for the entire quiz wondering why it wasn't working.

South Beach is not a neighborhood "in" Miami. South Beach is a neighborhood of Miami Beach, which is the city I live in. We have our own mayor, city council, police, fire department, etc. If you want to keep Miami, switch to Little Havana or Brickell. Or otherwise, have the answer be Miami Beach, but probably be kind and accept Miami. But at least educate people with the correct answer. I think all the other answers seem right as actually being part of their cities proper.
