More people heard of the Plain White Ts and Fountains of Wayne than the Beatles' Sexy Sadie and Lovely Rita, Arlo Guthrie's Alice's Restaurant, and Jimi Hendrix The Wind Cries Mary? I'm soon gonna be like my grandmother who used to drive through the cemetary and say that's where she had to go to visit her friends.... I never heard of the Plain White Ts or Fountains of Wayne. Will go to youtube now to look for them.... I suggest everyone who never heard of Hendrix, or Arlo check them out. Beatles too?

I think maybe I've seen/heard too many plays off of some of these, so I think the answer is something different.

For example, I kept trying "Dolly" instead of "Molly." Too much Hannah Montana, I guess, as there was an episode called "Good Golly, Miss Dolly." *facepalm* I knew better.

REAL Red Sox fan here and I hate that song, too. In fact, when the organization "adopted" that song, I stopped going to games entirely. Still don't understand what Sweet Caroline has to do with baseball.
