It's based off a 1964 picture of MLK Jr. and his wife, Coretta Scott King, hugging after it had been announced that he was the winner of the Nobel Peace Prize.
To me, it's one you either know or don't. Of all the US cities, Boston isn't one I associate with MLK. Were the city listed as Atlanta, Memphis, Selma, or some other such place linked with him, maybe there's a chance to make an educated guess. There are also numerous better statues of him.
I keep studying the one from Boston and I still can't tell what I'm looking at. I can make out legs, arms, a head and a back, but I don't see how a human being could look like that.
I'm happy that Lenin's legacy is kept alive. It's also funny that some reactionaries tried to have it removed but failed because it stands on private property.
